The Third Chorlton Beer Festival is happening this weekend. As ever, it is at St Clement's church, in Chorlton and will be attended by "churched" and "unchurched" alike. Now, I know people from both of these "communities" who would be opposed to a beer fesival at a church: where the emphasis in that sentence lies, depends on which group you are in... Interestingly, those who are there don't seem to mind either way.
There's a hogroast too.

I have been to the last two and will be there again for this one. I thoroughly approve of the whole thing.
Also, the fact that St Clements is only about 100yds stagger from my flat makes it all the better.
