Thank God for Apple and the Airport! How lovely is it being able to browse anywhere with no wires or modems trailing after you?... Think of all the recipes I can now follow from Nigel Slater online whilst actually cooking. Think of being able to Listen Again to all the radio shows you've ever missed whilst lying in bed on a Sunday morning. Hmmmm. And how tiny can you make such a clever thing?!
Three festive cheers for Apple!!!

Now the game is finding wireless hotspots in independent cafes in the city centre. Suburb are getting it next week with a web cam so you'll be able to watch yourself, in suburb, drinking a coffee whilst drinking a coffee, in suburb whilst looking at a picture of yourself drinking a coffee...........
And just found one in the cornerhouse, but christies doesn't have one..
Starbucks has them, if you like your coffee tainted with plastic :) There's a BT Openzone near Oxford Road station also so around there should be OK. Picadilly station has a couple of them too.
For the ultimate in wireless you also need a 3G card, so you can surf where there are no hotspots :) Cheaper if you do a lot of it (those public hotspots are pretty expensive to use).
public hotspots: yeah, i think the first couple of posts were about free ones... suburb, cornerhouse and oklahoma in the northern quarter are all free - if you buy a coffee... think that's it for the city centre right now
