Ok I'm not saying that I'm a trend-setter but everytime I start to like an artist/ group, Jo Whiley (10-1pm on Radio 1) has them on her show as new music. I was introduced to Damien Rice by James in 2004 and then Jo was all over him, in 2005 Dan intro'd me to Sigur Ros and suddenly Jo couldn't get enough of them, now yesterday I hear Jo gushing (rightly so) about Seth Lakeman (intro'd to me by Laura). Now I ask you, am I being bugged? I know my music knowledge is astounding but really Jo Whiley is arguably the next big Radio 1 guru - what's going on?

Must be Seth Lakeman week on the BBC then - Phill Jupitus has him as single of the week on the breakfast show at present.
