My eyeballs feel violated from reading such badly thought through, misleading and poorly phrased rubbish.

I would make comment about the claims made, but I fear my response would be longer than their post.

Plus, it's time for lunch.

Athlete are a gay band? Really? What makes a band gay? How peculiar.

Also, do Anglican Mainstream invite 'pro-gay' speakers to their conference and listen to them respectfully? I doubt it. I don't think Greenbelt are grinding any axes, just creating a space for people who have or are open to a particular viewpoint.

The most telling bit of this was at the bottom: "comments are closed".
How disappointing.

They pick eight things out of a festival of several hundred events and say it's "gayification". I'd say it's proportionate representation, maybe even under-representation.

GB, pull your fingers out and next year make sure you gayify the programme to at least 10% of the total...

Show the love, and consider emailing those organisations named/ with emails listed on the recent GB/ AM posts to say how much you value their work. Copy in office at anglican hyphen mainstream dot net to let them know your views. I did and got three lovely/ grateful replies. :-)

Love and hope, not hate.

There are gayers at Greenbelt? Shocking.

Great idea, Laura.

Athlete are indeed a 'gay' band, if you take the lazy Chris Moyles definition of the word.
