A mass blog for the national record. The History Matters campaign has designated 17 October a day for the public to make historic. We have chosen 'an ordinary' weekday of no particular significance to ask you to write a one day on-line diary.
Help us publicise it. Participate. Urge others to do so.

I was going to plan to do lots of exciting things on Tuesday and write about them.
I spent 9 hours and 10 minutes (plus 30 minutes for lunch) at work. None of it was wildly exciting. I did sign someone up for a property and inteview someone about antisocial behaviour and get on the wrong bus back to the office, thus going from Denton to Ashton via every house in Audenshaw. Then I came home.
